# Instant transfer or ACH: which should I use?

## Compare speed and cost of each transfer option.

Use Instant when you need money within minutes; use ACH when you can wait 1–3 business days and want to avoid the instant transfer fee.

- **Instant transfer:** arrives within minutes; 1.75% of the amount; goes to a US debit card
- **ACH transfer:** arrives in 1–3 business days; no transfer fee; goes to any US checking account (routing and account number)

To transfer, select **Transfer Money** on your dashboard, then choose **Instant** or **1–3 biz days**. Manage your accounts under [Bank accounts](https://app.gettongo.com/dashboard/bank-accounts?hsLang=en).

**Venmo:** we can't send to Venmo directly. Transfer to your bank first.
